rocketmann
Hey all, I'm going to be visiting relatives in the central part of the twin cities, and Hudson and Chippewa Falls in Wisconsin. What are the best traditional/non-micro caches in these areas? I'd like to take my relatives to some interesting caches. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Pto
Hey all, I'm going to be visiting relatives in the central part of the twin cities, and Hudson and Chippewa Falls in Wisconsin. What are the best traditional/non-micro caches in these areas? I'd like to take my relatives to some interesting caches. Thanks! Well, I started with my favorite cache in Hudson, WI - then did a nearest search: From this list I would suggest a few: If you have the time- 1)Mallalieu Canoe (requires a canoe, 3 different diff levels/approaches- takes several hours) This ones in Willow River State Park, which requires a permit- but If you go, visit the others in the park GC Google Map of park 2) "Canoe goes there" is near the start of #1 3)Have Abutment... 4)Willow away the hours...... 5) Pooh Bears home 6) Willow way down. Closer to the freeway, a bit quicker to get to 7)Where's the Dam.........Cache #9?!?: 8)Prospect Park 9)Hello Wisconsin! 10)Sledding Hills 10)Hudson's Bridge to Minnesota on the Yellowstone Trail As for Chippewa Falls- the area recently hosted a geocaching event. These caches were hidden for the event, and are (only???)listed here, on the Bottom of the Event page *Not sure if they are also GC listed, but I think they are- In any case, Here is a list of nearest cachesfrom one right in the middle of town. Hopefully this all helps! Good luck, and Enjoy!! Quote Link to comment
