+stiffler Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 I was wondering if anyone is using the moto Q or palm 700p (or w for that matter) for paperless caching? And how it is working out for them? Any info would be helpful. I will be changing cell companies and will need to get one for work and figured it would be a bonus for caching. I will have to take the insurance for sure. Thanks for your help. At this point, I'm between the Q and the 700P. Quote
+ILBandit Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Just wanted to bump this one to the top, I am going to get a "Q" soon also, and was wondering the same thing about using it for paperless caching. Can it be done? Or do I need a regular PDA? Quote

Version 2.0 is optimized for the different screen configurations and Windows Mobile 5. I know of people who have used it successfully with the TREO 700. Quote

You will find more software for the 700W. With a data plan, you could download Topo and Aerial maps on the fly with BackCountry Navigator. Edited July 8, 2006 by PocketSierra Quote
