Mvillian
Anyone know the cacher that was on Jeopardy tonight? I did not catch where she was from! Quote Link to comment
+Airmapper
A "She" cacher huh. There was a man on there once who Geocached, so this is a new person. Cool, we heard from the last cacher on Jepardy here in the forums, maybe this one will show up too. Edited July 4, 2006 by Airmapper Quote Link to comment

I saw the show and the watched the gal tell Alex about Geocaching but I didn't catch where she was from either. I was up at Sony Picture studios a week ago and they are totally rebuilding the Jeopardy set. It looks pretty cool! They are on summer hiatus now but taping starts mid July with the new set. +rogueleader1977
I saw it too and was wondering the same thing. Funny, I was in the kitchen not even paying to the TV in the other room. However when they started talking about geocaching I picked it right up! Quote Link to comment
blocko1000
I think I heard Alex say she was from Hawaii. Quote Link to comment
+What rock?
I was wondering who she is, too. The least she could have done was write her handle underneath her name! Ok, Judy, who are you really? Quote Link to comment
+sillygirl & jrr
Aloha! Yes that was me, the "& JRR" part of this team. If there was another cacher on the show Alex didn't remember, as he specifically said, he had never heard of geocaching before. Our little chat was actually edited for TV, because he said he had an old GPRr in his closet that he never used! We actually just watched the show today as we were caching on Kauai and weren't ready to quit when the show aired (since we knew what happened & all). As for writing my geohandle, I didn't know for sure I'd be talking about geocaching with Alex. All the contestants are asked to list 5 unique hobbies, experiences, etc. and then Alex picks the one he wants to talk about during the show. Judy PS: It was a very fun experience, even if I didn't win. Plus we got to find a few caches in LA. Quote Link to comment
+SixDogTeam
I caught your part about Geocaching, but had to leave. Did you win? Quote Link to comment

I know a lot of the answers sitting on my couch, but if I was on camera I'm not sure what I would remember! Edited July 5, 2006 by TrailGators Quote Link to comment

The cacher was RichAromas who also spoke up in the thread about his visit to the show. Congrats on making it, even if you didn't win it big! Quote Link to comment

+Yamahammer
We saw it the utter nite. It was on late, 11:30 EST. We were at our lake place in AR and we only get 2 channels. Couldn't sleep and watched this episode. My wife's eyes got wide when you were asked about GC. Congrats!!! Quote Link to comment
+What rock?
It's always easier sitting on the couch! Even if I knew the answer, I don't think I would have the reaction time pushing the little button. Besides, I would probably have every category having something to do with opera. Quote Link to comment
+Old Cavendish
LOL. I didn't catch it, but I had about 5 people call me and say, "Hey, there's a geocacher on Jeopardy!" I think they know my hobby. Quote Link to comment
