PokeMaster Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Any good caches that would be good for me and my brother at Devil's Lake? (My brother just recently started caching) Quote
+The Herd Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Depends on which Devil's Lake you are referring to? Quote
+Woodbutcher68 Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 Judging from his finds, he's in Wisconsin, so that would be near Baraboo. Quote
+The Herd Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Been to Devil's Lake, but not to cache. Beautiful area, but looks like the caches might be difficult for a newbie. There are some eay enough caches nearby in Baraboo, but it looks like most of the state park caches have some high terrain ratings. I'd say bag the easy ones, then move on to the state park caches if you guys are feeling up to it. Quote

I've been to Devil's Lake before I was a Geocacher. Now I can't wait to go back! Quote
CavemanRC Posted July 13, 2006 Posted July 13, 2006 I've done the Mobil Skills Crew cache (GCHZXZ) with my 13 year old cousin-in-law. It was a simple .6 mile hike in from the road. Uphill of course. I did the virtual at Par Frey's Glen (GC80AE) last weekend. Flat easy hike in to see the waterfall. I really want to get the Rock Lobster Cache (GCKC4N) in Devil's Lake it's self, but so far no luck with that. Quote
TEAM WISCONSONITES Posted July 29, 2006 Posted July 29, 2006 Yeah this is a good cache went to find it last year but we DNF it because we were unable to find it. I suggest you wear hiking boots because once you go off the trail you have to climb down the side of the mountain and this is the Devils lake in Baraboo in Wisconsin, Quote
