+kellyduo Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 I want to check the location of some coords. Is there a program online where I can type in coords and see a map of that location? My GPS isn't detailed enough.... Thanks! Kellyduo Quote

+Henki Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 (edited) You can copy and paste the coordinates into Google Maps, then zoom into the area. It'll show you the actual street names and the block it's on. OOPS, editing to say that the cache page actually has a Google Map link. Click on that and you don't have to type in the coordinates. +Isonzo Karst Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Also you can submit a cache page. UNCHECK the box that says, "this cache is currently active". That cache page will have all the usual map links and they will work. So you can see where your cache coords are, and you can see where other caches are (using the "nearest caches" link. If your coords look good, you CHECK this "cache is currently active" and it goes to the reviewer. If they look bad, go find a different spot for your cache. Quote
+Jhwk Posted June 29, 2006 Posted June 29, 2006 Other options (I keep these as bookmarks in my browser, in case of need) Lat-long.com here. and MapQuest Lat/Long search here. Hope you find what you need. Quote
