+CaspianJVC
Does anyone know of a good navigation software for a PDA that will let you navigate to a waypoint just like a handheld GPS. I have found navion but i dont think it will navigate to a waypoint. Quote Link to comment
+Pez Tonto
I haven't used either but have been researching this topic myself. The best bets seem to be http://www.visualgps.net/BeeLineGPS/ and http://wimobi.com/gpsdash/overview.ppc2.php Quote Link to comment

+RheS
Does anyone know of a good navigation software for a PDA that will let you navigate to a waypoint just like a handheld GPS. I have found navion but i dont think it will navigate to a waypoint. I use Cetus GPS on a Palm. It works very nicely with a "naked" GPSr sensor (just serial output, no display), and would work just as well with a GPS which has NMEA output (although why you'd want to do that, I'm not quite sure, except that my cheap little Palm IIIxe holds several thousand waypoints with full GPX file detail). http://www.cetusgps.dk/ I'm running the "beta" version, to get the sort-by-distance feature. +SparkyInCali
Try out cachemate for ppc.It will allow you to do paperless caching and also navigate you to the cache just like a gps.The best part is it is only $8 All of the options given by me and others do assume that you have a gps reciver hooked to your pda either bluetooth compact flash serial or otherwise Quote Link to comment
+Alan2
Mapopolis for about 80-100 bucks provides off road navigation page and on-road full voice/visual road navigation while driving to the trailhead. You can try it for free for 9 days. Edited July 1, 2006 by Alan2 Quote Link to comment
