+housefamily
I know there have been a few problems with the recent introduction of google maps, but I was wondering if anyone had thought to use them to map a travel bug's journey. I'd have thought it'd be fairly straightforward to create a custom map with points (and perhaps optional lines) showing the journey it's taken. Perhaps it's been suggested before, but since I can't search for the word 'map'.... What do people think? Link to comment
+ByrnedFish
you already can view them in google earth. go to the TBs page and on the right one of the options is 'view in google earth' this shows the travel bugs journy with a yellow line Link to comment
+Team_Talisman
I use the old map feature on the travel bug page....hit map on travel bug first page then hit old map after the first map pops up Link to comment
+housefamily
you already can view them in google earth. go to the TBs page and on the right one of the options is 'view in google earth' this shows the travel bugs journy with a yellow line I know - but wouldn't be nicer to have it as an embedded map in the web page? A feature I didn't know about! (one of many, I'm sure) IMHO still not as nice as a Google map though... Link to comment
