+Scook
Same here, but I'll be in Milwaukee mid July on the south side for some technical training and hope to get in some evening caching in as well. I'm looking for some non puzzle caches that hopefully will be big enough to leave one of my signature Cincinnati Chili Recipe magnets. Quote Link to comment
+Photom
Hello, I will be in Milwaukee next week and would like to ask if somebody can give me some recommendations for my geocaching activities? Greetings from Germany Markus Well, I'm from California and spent the last wek visiting/caching in Milwaukee. I found the caches here to be well maintained and generally in excellent areas to visit. Plan on spending some time hiking in excellent parks, woods, and nature areas. Watch out for poison ivy and be prepared for mosquitos. My favorite caches of over 90 found: Mother Natures Children http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...0b-15386bab042b Covert Cache http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...ab-26d52d22b281 Oak Hill Cemetary 1853 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...c2-5083fa52eb57 Ministry of Silly Walks http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...44-079be25b94b0 and Millenium Mural http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...a3-bf45e08502a5 Most are multis with a puzzle involved, but all were excellent and loads of fun. There are two local cachers I found to be very helpful and friendly; they gave me great advice. Both have a great number of well-maintained and fun caches around the city. You may want to pop one or both of them an email. GR8 EYES and LEGO LOVER Have a great trip - and happy caching. -Tom- Quote Link to comment
+IowaAdmin
If you leave a post in the WGA forums, you'll get many more responses from local Milwaukee cachers. Quote Link to comment
