MsMicia
i found a coin in a cache.. went to the log in my find (of the site) and found the option to log in the coin. So i logged it in.. no problem.. left a cute comment.. and submitted it.. When i went back to the cache site, that particular comment was not there.. so then i tried to find a tracking area or log area where i could see that my comment was there.. no log site.. grrr.. frustrated, i asked another cacher.. he didn't know either.. any one out there who can give me the coords for finding the logs on coins?? thanks.. micia Quote Link to comment
Team JSAM
I think I had the same problem once I think it either took a little while to post or it posted when I droped the coin. As long as teh coin is in your invetory you should be all set. Quote Link to comment
Mauison
I noticed that sometimes the log doesn't come up right away for some reason. Check the next day, it should be there. Quote Link to comment
chaosmanor
Lately, almost *every* coin and Bug log takes between five and 20 minutes to post. I don't know why. Maybe they need to check ISPs or something beforehand, to ensure that trackables aren't getting logged improperly. Quote Link to comment
Marky
This has to do with the fact that there are multiple servers and that the information from the database is cached. Like Mauison recommended, just assume all is well and it will be eventually. Quote Link to comment
kelly@9
Yeah, there is some caching (in computer terms, not geocaching!) of the travel bug / geocoin pages going on for sure, I've never noticed it taking 20 minutes to update the page, but it often seems to take 5-10 minutes. Quote Link to comment
