+CrazyL200
It arrived about half an hour ago and I can confirm there is a facility to navigate to a user entered co-ordinate I just tried it on a couple of local caches and it's great! Can you input a series of co-ordinates (creating a series of POIs) and get it to create an itinery to follow ? Quote Link to comment
+The Bolas Heathens
You can indeed - or mix any combination of co-ords, POI's (e.g. caches), addresses etc etc for an intinery Can you input a series of co-ordinates (creating a series of POIs) and get it to create an itinery to follow ? +The Bolas Heathens
Just having a look through all the options on the new unit and not only can you type in co-ordinates as a destination but you can display a compass on the screen with various options, including bearing to destination. So you could use the unit not only to get you to the parking place but to the actual cache itself Quote Link to comment
+slimey
Is this new firmware available to existing TT owners (I've got a TT One)? Quote Link to comment
+The Bolas Heathens
Not yet - I believe they have released it on the new models and know they are supposed to be back porting it to the Go series and so perhaps the One too. Is this new firmware available to existing TT owners (I've got a TT One)? Quote Link to comment
