DannyDog
Hello, I’m new to Geocaching and would like to know what some of you think about using ether one of them? I have been trying to use me iQueM5 after work to find two of the caches and had no luck so far. Would I be better of using my e-trex Legend? When I looked for GCK2AB (Serenity) I thought I was at the correct location but didn’t find anything within 40’. There was a spot that would have been perfect for the container but “nothing”. +briansnat
You're better off using your Legend if only because its built to take the abuse it will receive while geocaching. Your IQue is designed for the office, the Legend is designed to be shock proof, water proof and will stand up a lot better than the iQue. Quote Link to comment
+JMBella
Use both. I keep my m5 in the car and use it for driving directions from cache to cache. I also DL the cache pages via GSAK to the M5. Then use your etrex while on your actual cache hunt. You can find all the software you need to set up your equipment here. Have fun. Quote Link to comment
+sbell111
The very first time you get it a little muddy and dunk it in the creek to clean it off, you'll be glad you went with the Legend. Quote Link to comment

+IVxIV
True the IqueM5 is a bit too delicate to be romping in the woods with, but neverthless, it should find the cache just as good as a Legend or most any other GPSr. Do you have the coord system & datum set correctly? That, and a correctly entered set of coordinates, should be all you need. Keep in mind though, sometimes a cache develops "feet" (other human hands) & moves off so, don't dispair when you can't find a cache. It may not be there to find. Quote Link to comment
