well the site was down for about 6hrs on the maintainance page and then switched to this one where everything except caches works. so it could be another 6hrs!

Apparently there has been a "database upgrade" going on but TPTB are now awake and know there's a problem. Let's wait and see !!

meh i guess i wont be caching today then i know how difficult web sites are to keep up so i do sypathise with the ppl who do build it just wish we could help oh well ill try the site again tomorrow

Ive also noticed on two separate occasions in the last week that Ive not had email alerts for caches on my watchlist and 2 have not arrived since logged 'found' 3rd June for two of my own caches. Anybody else noticed this?

I don't wish to be pedantic but this 'is' a commercial site. They charge a yearly fee for 'extra' features and also sell goods, labels; TB's etc, to fund the site. It is actually run as a business but you are allowed to use most of it's features free of charge if you so wish.
