Kealia Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Are you looking for racks and display cases or the little plastic cases that hold one coin sealed inside? Quote
jaredl Posted May 31, 2006 Author Posted May 31, 2006 just like the 2.5 x 2.5 ones that the coins i find are in, the ones where you can put a peice of paper on one side and the coin on the other? of even 2x2 i guess Quote

jaredl Posted May 31, 2006 Author Posted May 31, 2006 i went to a fee stores, and they looked at me like i'm crazy!!! aparently the real coin collectores dont use those, and aparently geo coins arn't classified as real coins, at least thats what the guy at the store said. Note to self: Don't shop at canadian currency in Richmondhill, Ontario Quote
Kealia Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 I'm surprised they even knew what geocoins were! Those little flips come from the manufacturers when they ship coins. I hav no idea where, or if, you can but those. You could use airtites if that helps. Quote

Pepper Posted May 31, 2006 Posted May 31, 2006 Jaredl it's my understanding the the nice soft flips will let the coin tarnish, but the hard plastic one will not? Now I got this information from a non-geocoin coin collector here in Alvin. This is second hand info and I don't have hard facts, but yes JP's is a good place. Now while at GW4 I saw P0t0m0m's coin books from thecachingplace and they were sweet! Maybe you can take a look there I know I am. Pepper Quote
