OXCACHER
I have an issue with my reviewer not following the Guidelines for hiding a cache. Who is the best contact to mediate the situation? Quote Link to comment
reepicheep
They may be following the guidelines better than you think since you either did not read the guidelines or totally skipped over the part about what to do with issues about reviewers. I suggest you read them thoroughly again and if you still have the problem, do what the guidelines say to do. http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx reepicheep Quote Link to comment
Deliveryguy428
Good answer, guess someone pooped on your poptart, here is the section they were telling you to go hunt down from the link Finally, if you believe that the reviewer has acted inappropriately, you may send an e-mail with complete details, waypoint name (GC****) and links to the cache, to Groundspeak’s special address for this purpose: appeals@geocaching.com. +OXCACHER
What is above that? I am sure they did not find what they are asking me in the guidelines. Edited May 29, 2006 by TalesFromTheSurface Quote Link to comment

OXCACHER
I have that, appeal has been sent. How far does this chain go and what would be the next step? The question from my reviewer IS NOT in the guidelines for hiding a cache! Edited May 29, 2006 by TalesFromTheSurface Quote Link to comment
gpsfun
I have that, appeal has been sent. How far does this chain go and what would be the next step? The question from my reviewer IS NOT in the guidelines for hiding a cache! Since you have sent your message to the appropriate address, it would be well to await an answer. Please keep in mind that today is a business holiday, and that Groundspeak may triage incoming e-mail messages and respond to them in priority order. In the mean time, you may want to consider a continuing dialog with the local reviewer, as you may reach a resolution sooner that way. There is no list of allowed and disallowed questions that a reviewer may ask about a cache page submission, but it is up to the reviewer to determine to their satisfaction that all aspects of the cache are within the boundaries of the guidelines and do not create legal, safety, or other issues. +OXCACHER
Update: Issue handled, didn't want to post the details of this situation in the forum. I was just looking for some contact information to vent my frustrations. Groundspeak Reps. were fast and knowledgeable. Thanks! Ron http://www.talesfromthesurface.com Quote Link to comment
