+storm1 Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 when i installed my mapsource topo canada in my computer, i only put eastern canada in. i'm going to be going to toronto so i want to put the toronto area on my gps but i need to get it on my pc first. do i need to reinstall mapsource or is there a way to add it? +greengolftee87 Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 What will most likely happen is that when you send your selected maps to your GPSr, if one of the map segments is out of the "East" section your computer will just ask you to put in the disc. As opposed to getting the data off your C drive because i didn't install ontario the grid lines/ map sections are not there to select so i need to load the ontario section on my pc first. just not sure how to do that. +mncanoeist Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 Put in disk 1 and start a new install then it should come up with options to modify, repair, or remove. Choose modify and it should come up with the 4 areas you can install. The last thread will not help you as Topo Canada installs to the hard drive, US Topo does not. Quote Link to comment
