+Train_Man
Hi I've got a 60CSx and I want to do a factory reset on it. What is the key combo for the new 60X series to do a reset? Also, I know there was a boot diagnostics page on the older etrex models. Is there one on the 60X series? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

+Sputnik 57
From the Setup Section of the FAQ: 8. How can I start up the GPSr in diagnostic mode? Hold ENTR while powering up to enter test mode. 9. I read somewhere about another debug page. How do I see that? From the Trip Computer page, press up, right, down and left on the rocker key. A debug page appears. There is a screen shot in this post and a discussion in the few following posts Edited May 25, 2006 by Sputnik 57 Quote Link to comment
+Rhinode
http://www.gpsinformation.org/dale/secret.htm GeoBC I read something additional to this page on a german forum http://www.cachebrett.de/garmin/versteckte...inationen-60csx if you hold down QUIT, MENU, ZOOM OUT while POWER-ON you get a Master-Reset of the device. PAGE, ENTER while POWER-ON is just a reset of the user data. Quote Link to comment
+Rhinode
I had a serios problem with my Garmin 60csx: I got no satellite fix, even with the described master reset. No satellites appeared in the display at all. I wanted to send it to garmin but tried one thing at last: opened the garmin, solded out the small battery, short-cut of the battery-connectors to really reset that dadgum thing, solded in the battery -> Works again! This was really a hard reset. Edited July 18, 2009 by Rhinode Quote Link to comment
