+Scorpion King
I have a Garmin 60CSX. I have heard people talk about software for making my own custom waypoint symbols. What's the best software to use..?? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
You'll need the XIMAGE program to get the images into the unit. I use the Windows Paint program to edit the images, but anything like Photoshop that allows you to edit a .bmp file will work for that. Check out #9 in the waypoints section of Sputnik 57's Frequently Asked Questions about Garmin Map60CS (and Similar) GPS Receivers page for more info. Quote Link to comment
+Sputnik 57
There are some samples and links to good discussions in question 9 of the Waypoints Section of the FAQ. Edit: Neo Geo types faster than me. Edited May 24, 2006 by Sputnik 57 Quote Link to comment
