+Apple Dumpling Gangg
We are going to be camping at Hunting Island State Park over the July 4th weekend. Can anyone suggest some good local caches that we can do while in the area? Or any that would be on our route to Hunting Island? We are coming from Northeast PA. We would like to add VA, NC, and SC to the states that we have cached in. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+jamrasc
There are 11 caches just on the island. We haven't done any of them, but they sound great. Here is a good starting point: GCVX5T. Have a great visit. Quote Link to comment

+LSUMonica
I used to live in Beaufort pre-geocacaching days so I never did any caches there, but there are a few places that I used to visit and love where I have now discovered that there is a geocache there! These are a few: GC2D54 Sheldon Ruins GC3E00 Hit or Miss? There are few that are in other GREAT places but right now they are temp disabled. Don't forget to climb the Lighthouse on Hunting Island, visit downtown Beaufort and see the houses featured in The Big Chill, Forces of Nature and Prince of Tides, eat some ice cream at Plum's for me too!!
