+Simply Paul
As seen on the BBC series Coast, it's the shed where all Britain's telegraph cables arrive. It's in Cornwall, away from shipping as anchors could damage the cables. Link to comment

Nediam
I take it that we are not allowed to use Google Earth etc. to find the location? If so, I'll have stab at anwering question B and say that it is the place where the first cross channel communications took place? Link to comment

+Simply Paul
Not cross channel, look at the swimming pools. Could be first transatlantic radio broadcast, which I imagine was Marconi. Might make it the Marconi Building, or Institute? But then I thought that was to Cape Cod or Newfoundland -one of those places without outdoor pools anyway- so maybe it was the first radio broadcast from the UK to Australia? Link to comment
+Dorsetgal & GeoDog
Marconi is correct, so just the two other bits to get. Paul, I wouldn't be so cruel as to set an aerial pic with such detailed questions from outside the UK as this is a UK forum Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
Is it in Dorset? While looking for the picture of the hut at Porthcuro I came across an article about Marconi & the first transatlantic broadcast, I'm sure it was in Cornwall somewhere but can't remember where. Link to comment

Edgemaster
I wondered when that would be useful... Sticking roughly with radio, and going back to the idea of datums and time noted earlier... Almost everyone knows of the 'Rugby Time Signal' which has been broadcast from Rugby since 1927, but on April 1st, the time signal from Rugby will be switched off, and moved somewhere else. Where is it to be moved to? Link to comment

The estemed Tom baker is also the voice of Little Britain. To the question: Carmen shot him, Eddy covered it up, Vivian thought the General wanted him found but whether the General wanted him found or not was never really clear. So who was he? When a man walks into a forum with the correct answer, you know its time for another question.
