Satellite Coverage

Hello Geonuts,

I'm new to all this....in the UK too, and was wondering if there is a best time of day/week/month for satellite reception in any particular area of the UK...any charts for this sort of thing?

If your concerned about reception, I wouldn't worry about it unless you plan to be surveying or doing some other high accuracy work.

That pdf. looks like a lot of useful info..... it seems to be 'locked' however so I cannot print it out.... (I still prefer leafing through 'real paper' in my armchair than reding pages of text from the screen).... looks to be something that we should ALL read before placing (or looking for) a cache.....
