WGA Campout - Amazing Race

I've posted this as a log on the WGA Camput Geocache page, but am posting here as well, hoping I will get some responses:

 

I was very disappointed that we didn't attend this event - we were planning to, but I wasn't able to talk my husband into hauling the camper & 3 kids out in the rain - sounds like we missed a great time!

 

I was hoping someone could help me however ... I'm helping plan a Technology Academy in June and the theme is "Survivor" (which is sounds like you were ALL survivors last weekend!). I was wondering if the planners from the Friday evening Amazing Race event would be willing to share any ideas with me? I was particularily hoping to attend that so I could get some ideas to use at our Tech Academy (we will be doing some geocaching activities.)

 

Any help is much appreciated or if anyone has any great ideas of tying in the "Survivor" theme into geocaching, I welcome ANY ideas!

Participation in this event was fairly limited as many people did not arrive early enough or were frightened off by the rain. I was just too tired to do it after being locked in the car with a wife and two kids for several hours....(ducks and runs). Sounds like they had a good time though. I'd email the Cachecows as they organized the event. They are very clever and have lots of really fun ideas floating around their heads.
