I'm trying to get a answer from Palm, but here goes! Can I sync BOTH a IIIxe (Serial) and a T|X (USB) on the same computer? First page of the "Read this first" says ""sync your current handheld so that it is up to date. THEN install the new software, otherwise, your new handheld won't work correctly.

2. Am I going to have to give them each a unique name?

I think as long as each PDA has its own name/profile, you can sync as many PDAs to the same computer as you want.

 

I've never run more than one PDA off a computer at a time, so treat this as advice borne of theory rather than experience. But that is what my understanding is...else, why would you be able to name different profiles?

We sync a Tungsten E and a T/X on the same computer. They both use USB ..... but different cable types as the Palm ends are quite different. They each have a unique hot-sync name. ImpalaBob
