Is there a way to change the search from home to include more miles? I seem to remember it going up to 100 miles, but when I tried recently it only searched up to 50 miles.

I noticed the same thing. Like you, I'm from an area (southeastern New Mexico) where 100 miles is much more practical for a search. Sometimes a 50 mile search won't even go to the next town!!!

After clicking on the link, append &dist=100 to the end of the Url and hit return. It will extend the query to 100 miles.

 

The change is due to the increased strain that 100 mile searches has on the database, so the default was reduced. You can still adjust the distance with the trick above.
