Would love to stay Sunday and do a cache run, but I really want to grab a cache in New Mexico to finish off all 50 states. Hey Snoogans, I won't be able to make the Friday night event, but is there a way I can get ahold of one or two of those 10,000 caches? I'd like to place a few in MS. I'm thinkin' that I might have a surplus of seed pods, but judging by the turnout for the Friday meet and greet at GW3, I may not. I'm going to save a few hundred micros back for the folks that miss out on the seed pods, so you'll at least get one of the seeds...... Quote Link to comment

+Vinny & Sue Team
To my best knowledge, as of this moment, neither Sue nor I will not be attending GW4. This means that you can all relax and stop those daily $80 payments to the local sorceress for the purpose of keeping us from attending. And this means that you all will have fun. +Vinny & Sue Team
Folks, I have some genuine concerns about exactly how how big and how sophisticated and how REAL this Geowoodstock 4 event is gonna be. . . Like, for exampe: If I recall correctly, when our local Maryland Geocaching Society (MGS) organized their Cache Across Maryland 2006 (aka CAM 2006) hunt, which culminated in the CAM 2006 picnic held on Saturday, 5/6/2006, they also hosted an alternate Nude Cache Across Maryland cache hunt, along with a large nude area at the picnic, and I think they flew Nudecacher in from Nevada as the guest of honor, along with two nude female supermodels from Mahnattan. Further, MGS and Vyper4 (the organizer) have already announced that the upcoming June Meet and Greet event to be held in Cunningham Falls State Park in June will feature a landing of an alien mother ship at the event, offering each attendee a chance to meet and chat with alien grays and alien reptoid reptilian shapeshifters from a distant dying galaxy. And, MGS and Vyper4 have announced that there will even be a contest for alien abduction, where the winner will be abducted by the aliens to a tropical planet in the Zeta Reticuli system for one week. Lastly, it is a poorly-kept secret that most of the members of MGS, myself included, are really West Virginia hillbillies, and thus the parking lot at the Patapsco State Park picnic area was jam-packed with rusty beater cars which had giant turbo air scoops, no paint and no mufflers, monster trucks loaded with chrome, and low-rider trucks with a quarter-inch of ground clearance, and there were about 2,000 kegs of unpasteurized organic draft microbrew beer available in the tailgating area... So, my question is: Will Geowoodstock 4 be offering similar venues, or will it fail to live up to the high standards set by MGS here in Maryland? +Vinny & Sue Team
By the way, folks, in case it was not obvious, my above post was a joke! I was just being cute and poking fun. And, I was actually in Texas about 9 weeks ago -- I flew to Houston for 4 days to do Quantum Leap and some other caches (including several others by Snoogans), and had a lot of fun! I wish you all the best with GeoWoodstock 4! And, if I had some extra time and funds, I would definitely attend GW4, because it sounds like a blast! (On the other hand, it is really best that I do not attend, as I am so weird that you would end up banning all Marylanders from all future events...) I wish you all the best with GeoWoodstock 4! However, having said that, one question: Are there gonna be any landings of alien motherships? ...Please? Edited May 8, 2006 by Vinny & Sue Team Quote Link to comment
