+Haggis Hunter
Last year Firth of Forth was asked to do an interview for the Out of Doors programme for BBC Radio Scotland. She wasn't able to meet up at the time they wanted so I ended up doing the interview. Guess What? It's happened again. I'm doing a live interview on MacAulay & Co on the 3rd May at 09:30 yep that is tomorrow morning. You can listen to the programme on 92-95 FM or on 810 MW. If you are not in Scotland you can also listen to the programme on Sky Channel 0116. Quote Link to comment

+perth pathfinders
Well done HH, Lesley contacted me, but I chickened out in the end but gave her a few other possible names. Glad she picked you as you have had previous experience and will know what is expected, and sorry it was such short notice. Do hope it goes well Edited May 3, 2006 by perth pathfinders Quote Link to comment
+Team Ballibeg
Very good radio! They put you on the spot a bit didn't they? I liked the touch of inviting folk to find the cache on air. Could you post the caches so we can look at the logs? Well done, not easy to explain the concept of item swaps v TB/Geocoins. Best bit is the presenter with you enjoyed it. Dave Quote Link to comment
alistair_uk
It is now available on Listen again direct from the BBC. You can use the link above or paste rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/scotland/radioscotland/demand/macaulayandco/rs_macaulayandco_wed.rm in to real player. Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
Thanks, I really enjoyed it, I've still got to listen to the show myself, but the producer has literaly just got off the phone with me, and she was extremely pleased with the outcome. The caches are - Trotters Independant 'Auto' Traders, Dell View & Under the Boardwalk. I don't know when they will be logged but I made sure that I was the one moving the TB's. Quote Link to comment
+walkergeoff and wife
The links given send us to the programme, which last 90 minutes - unless I have done something wrong. Is there any way of getting just HH's contribution? Quote Link to comment

+perth pathfinders
It was at the beginning, and then in the last 15 mins!! Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
I was interviewed three times, at the beginning then 1 hour 13 minutes and lastly 1 hour 25 minutes to the end of the show. Quote Link to comment

Is there any way of getting just HH's contribution? Starts 7:25 into the show and then continues through the show in chunks. Doesn't everyone in England listen to Radio Scotland. If you just want to strip out the GeoCaching bits it may be that you are looking for a ripper which will allow you to convert streamed internet radio to .wmv or .mpg files. Me I prefer my daily diet of BBC Scotland Northeast News, MFR Breakfast Show and Fred MacAuley. Well done HH, just too far to go there and get the T-Shirt! Did anyone catch the Wymondham Wanderers on Anglia TV News recently. Edited May 3, 2006 by Jango & Boba Fett Quote Link to comment

+daytribe
I have uploaded the 8.7MB MP3 to here. Excellent bit of editing and a really clear file. Which ripper did you use to capture the program from the web? Quote Link to comment
alistair_uk
Which ripper did you use to capture the program from the web? I did not actually need to use a ripper but I best not state publicly how I got the file to protect the guilty . I used CoolEdit 96 to edit it together and did the MP3 encoding using LAME. +Kryten
Think the presenters need to get another job though! Definately, Fread McAuley treats all interviewees as fodder for his lame humour, at the expense of what they are trying to say. He should be DJ-ing for Radio P45.
