Scare Force One Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 I am looking for a user. I recently visited a cache in VT where i found a green button with the phrase "Need More Cache." There was no clue as to who left it but i am interested in how this person made it as i would like to do something similar. If you left this or now who left it plz reply. Scare Force One
Team Dubbin Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 The quickest way to find them is to go back through the logs and startemailing some people.
Team Neos Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Or you could just contact a button maker. Honeychile is a geocacher that makes buttons. She does our sig buttons. Bumblebuttons
JohnnyVegas Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 Bumble buttons has been making our buttons for a long time, these are some of the buttons she has made for us. I should update this photo as there are several that are not included in the photo
Scare Force One Posted April 30, 2006 Author Posted April 30, 2006 While I apriciate all comments I am looking for this specific person. The button i retrived seems to be home made. It is a piece of construction paper inside of what appears to be a piece of plastic specially made for buttons. Thanks, Scare Force One
What rock? Posted April 30, 2006 Posted April 30, 2006 You can buy button making machines. The PTA at our elementary school has one. You can find ads for them in craft magazines.
Adrenalynn Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 The most famous of them: http://www.badgeaminit.com
KBI Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Here's a link to the profile of a cacher named Need More Cache, but good luck -- their last visit to the website was November 16, 2005.

The last ones that I purchased I found at Walmart. They generally come in two sizes, 2¼" and 3½". There are also key chains that work the same way. You simply separate the front and back of the button, insert your "artwork", and press the parts back together. Edited May 1, 2006 by RichardMoore
briansnat Posted May 1, 2006 Posted May 1, 2006 Why don't you try the New England forum, where the locals are more likely to see this, or the Vague website.
Scare Force One Posted May 29, 2006 Author Posted May 29, 2006 Found who and what i was looking for. Thanks for all who helped. Scare Force One
