+HazelS
I know lots of people will say ... you play the game your own way, but I was just wondering what other people's take on this would be.... I have recently moved house and as I've moved about 30 miles away, I got a couple of local cachers to adopt my caches. One of those asked me a few weeks ago why I'd not been and done the cache now that I no longer own it... I replied that I think that would be cheating - I know exactly where it is... what do you think? Link to comment
johnzissler
Hi Hazel, In my opinion you should just politely decline. Unless of course you are going number hunting. In which case every one counts. Let me put it this way.............you are 0n 999 caches and one of those you gave away would make it your 1000. Would you go and do it or not. Personally I wouldnt, but thats my choice. +The Golem
Sounds like a terrible idea to me - other than increasing the numbers what would be the point? Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Don't think I'd go for one/or all of them. However, should they be relocated/moved for any reason, and no longer where you hid them... Thats a diffarent matter! Link to comment
+The Bolas Heathens
I would not log them as I can't see the point. If they are moved elsewhere then I'd consider logging them as it's like a new cache being published. Link to comment
+Learned Gerbil
My view is - Log then own - but not own then log. Finding some of the caches I eventually adopted was bloody hard! Link to comment
