I've noticed a broad spectrum of quality in waymark submissions, and there's been some debate about the merits of allowing group officers to edit individual waymark pages to correct errors. Would it be possible to go further than this simple edit process by implementing waymark pages as wikis? It would be necessary, I suppose, to limit edit authorization to selected users. Such an edit capability would be a huge help in improving overall quality, and would encourage others to expand on previous entries.

That's a very good suggestion, and one we've discussed a bit. The idea (and this is a long way off) is that waymarkers can make suggestions for changes to a waymark and it will go into a queue for group officer review. The leader or an officer with permissions can review the suggested change and decide to keep it or dump it. It's wiki-ish, but without the risk of vandalism.
