Buying A New Gps Online

I am considering buying a new Vista Cx, please can anyone recommend a reliable supplier. I have looked at ebay and the GPS.co.uk, anyone know of a better place.

i've used wiggle for handlebar mounts for my legend. fast and efficient . free postage too if you dont go for the next day option.

I also bought from GPS Warehouse and they were very helpful. However that was three years ago and the recent explosion of interest in systems for cars may have changed them a little.

 

Wiggle I have used for bicycle kit and I was seriously impressed. They remain just about my favourite experience of online purchasing to date.

I bought my 60cs from the gpsonline shop from ebay got a great price on it at £325 that was 6 months ago.

The pc connector came loose on the back i rang them up they just said send it back and i got a brand new replacement the next day.

Another vote for either www.gpsw.com or www.globalpositioningsystems.com.

 

Excellent service from both, though I normally go to GPSW as their shop isn't too far away from where I live should I have an issue.

I bought my Vista Cx (International basemap) at this place via eBay:

...straight forward and cheapest I found.

 

Do not concern yourself with the installed basemap - it is irrelevant because the microSD card will allow you to expand and install skiploads of maps.

 

Using a 256 MB microSD card (instead of the paltry 32 MB leftovers that Garmin sends out), I have installed the street-level maps for the whole of the UK and Ireland, Holland and a good bit of Germany - just because I could - and this is using City Navigator V8 as the data source so using non-autorouted Mapsource data, you could get an even bigger area installed.

 

You should have taken the opportunity to have a closer look at my Garmin at the Ely event this weekend...

Mine was from www.gpsforless.co.uk . Gave me money off cuz they were out of stock and I had to wait five days instead of two. Can't complain at that - I didn't even ask them for a discount, they just offered it!
