Moun10Bike
A couple of weeks ago I spent a few hours geocaching with a writer doing a story on geocaching for Seattle Magazine. After spending some time with me, a person who has been geocaching for a while, she expressed interest in talking to someone else caught up in the game but relatively new to it. Are there any Seattle-area "newbies" out there who would be interested in talking to her? If so, please send me a quick email through the site with how long you have been geocaching and a short snippet on how you would describe your involvement. I will forward on your aliases and info to the writer. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+quadmommy
What's your definition of "newbie". I joined last summer, but only became really active during the fall. I'm now over 200 finds and seriously hooked. I live over on the Kitsap Peninsula and cache with my four boys all the time. Quadmommy Quote Link to comment
+Shop99er
Quadmommy would be a good choice. She's been really avtice over the last 2-3 months, and has to do this with her herd. Quote Link to comment
+Blue Power Ranger
If your looking for another source, we are game too (family). Joined 12/25/05 (Christmas Noob). Now have 211 finds 7 hides, four travel bugs etc... Would have more finds but have cleaned out most of those near home and where my work normally takes me. Can't wait for some vacation time to hit new areas! Quote Link to comment
+Wienerdog
Why a newbie? Not that there is anything wrong with the new cachers by far. I just don't understand where she is coming from. Some of us would gladly talk to her. Like my good friend Lucy . Just kidding sweetie! Seeing if you are paying attention to the forums? I guess I can expect a noogie for this statement! +grossi
I would recommend contacting Team Maccabee. He has just over 100 finds, plus two unique and inventive cache placements. And, oh yeah, he's hooked all right! Quote Link to comment
+Team Maccabee
Oh, what the heck.... what harm can it do? [Famous last words...] Email being sent. Team Maccabee Quote Link to comment

But against Jester, no contest. cheers, Poppa J Quote Link to comment
+pat&kelkut
I started April 1, and have found 9 as of the 21. I've planted one near my house and my wife is hooked as well. Quote Link to comment
+Team Skittle
OK, I started on April 18, it has been 8 days, I have found 18 caches, at least one a day every day, and I work full time. So it's been lunch, after work, and the weekends. Does that count as HOOKED? Quote Link to comment
+-Hawk-
I would have to say I agree with Shop99er. quadmommy came out of nowhere, and is racking them finds up, not to mention the amount of placements lately...........like this evening for example. And keep in mind this is all done with a gaggle of kids, Quadruplets to be exact, if you couldnt figure that out by her caching name. Just MHO Quote Link to comment
+Team JSAM
I would love to do it if you don't find someone in WA I just started and am totally hooked I have been caching for 42 days and I have 58 finds and 5 soon to be 6 quality hides I have found 10 trackables and own 5 geocoins and 1 TB, this is the greatest sport I have ever played it combines everything I love outdoors, the hunt and spending time with my family. Ohh yea we just got our very first FTF yesterday and did the dance.... Team Jsam Edited to add: We live in Southern Idaho! Edited April 27, 2006 by Team Jsam Quote Link to comment
+-Hawk-
I am again going to suggest Quadmommy, with no disrespect intended to others. A question that begs to be asked is......when is this "interview" going to take place? Quote Link to comment
