+ozymandiasism Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 I am having huge problem connecting my eTrex Legend CX to my laptop via USB. It would work sometimes and it won't most of the time. I can't even find the unit in MapSource or GSAK!!! I know that GSAK doesn't work with Garmin's CX series, but I can't even download data from MapSource. I checked Garmin's website and followed the instructions on updating all the map versions, driver versions and unit software, and still no help. Anyone have problems with their USB connection??? ImpalaBob Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Generic USB cables are notorious for crapping out. Try another cable. Pick up a good Belkin cable at Wally-Mart. ImpalaBob Quote
k1w1t1m Posted April 11, 2006 Posted April 11, 2006 Make sure the microSD card is inserted properly and in position. If the card is not in correctly you will be unable to transfer maps and other information. Quote
