I will be going on a cruise this summer that stops in St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands. I found two caches that seem to be very easy and convenient for cruisers (ex. Dockside), however they are only listed under U.S. Virgin Islands, not the particular island. How do I figure out if they are on St. Thomas or one of the other islands?

Dockside is on St. Thomas. Go to the online maps section below the description. I clicked on the geocaching.com map which showed that it was St. Thomas. What is the other one that you are interested in?

Go to google maps and fire in the coordinates. It should show you on the map where they are.

 

Or not... seems googles maps coverage there isn't so good.

 

How about entering the coords into your GPSr?

The first twelve caches on this page are all of the ones on St. Thomas.

I'll be there for a while this fall for work. Post what you find out here. I'd like to know if the caching there is worth bringing my stuff along...

dont forget to hop over to st john several good ones there and st croix has 3 or more....
