ServiceRifle Posted April 8, 2006 Share Posted April 8, 2006 Ok, I sent my 60c in for repair and instead of repairing it they just sent me a new one. That's great! Only problem is that I have City Select 5 and though it was unlocked for the old unit, when I try to transfer maps to this one, it says this GPS isn't unlocked. Ok, it's been over 2 years since I had to do this so I don't know what to do. Someone please help? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
-Oz- Posted April 8, 2006 Share Posted April 8, 2006 Call Garmin tech support and they'll give you a new unlock key. Normally they do this when they swap out GPSs, they just might have forgotten. Quote Link to comment
+Team BlackZ Posted April 8, 2006 Share Posted April 8, 2006 My replacement 60CS came with a new unlock code from Garmin. Make sure yours isn't in the box that the GPS came it, the shipping box, not the packaging box for the GPS. Quote Link to comment
