+CYBret
I just wanted to say "thanks!" to everyone who's picked one up so far. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out here. The guys at the GeoCoin store did a great job of making my ideas come to life....er...come to metal anyway. Price is $7.50. Custom icon and prefix (GU). Thanks a bunch! +MustangJoni
I bought one of these as soon as it was available. When I first started caching, I was at the GU site all the time. I can't tell you how helpful that site was for me! Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+MetroGT
Same here. I used www.geocacher-u.com from the time I signed up to learn as much as possible while waiting for my first GPSr to come in the mail... Signed up at GC.com on Dec. 15, and I didn't get my GPSr til Jan. 9. Quote Link to comment

+CYBret
For those of you who have picked up the Geocacher University coin, the icon got turned on today. Hope you enjoy it. There's is still one little problem on the coin listing. It's due to be fixed by Friday. Has anyone been observant enough to notice it? Coins are still available on geocoinstore.com . As always, I appreciate your support. Bret Quote Link to comment

+Quoddy
I ordered and received 5 coins some time ago. This week when I went to activate the coins I discovered that the tracking numbers were EXTREMELY difficult to read. After almost an hour and many attempts to get a code for the possible letters/numbers on ANY one, I managed to activate one coin. I am using an extremely powerful magnifying glass, but the tracking numbers are so ill-defined that I've had to give up on the rest for now. I guess I could drop them into caches and let it be the finder's problem. Quote Link to comment
+GEO*Trailblazer 1
Mine came last week. It all went very well for me. No problems from this geocacherU. It is in the front of my coin book. Quote Link to comment

The laser engraving is very legible and deep on some coins and on others you could just barely make out the tracking number. Try looking at the tracking number from an angle. Quote Link to comment
Ferreter5
Try looking at the tracking number from an angle. Aye, mine looked kind of smudged and hard to read. However, tipping the coin up and down helped out alot. Edited May 4, 2006 by Ferreter5 Quote Link to comment
