OpinioNate Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 You will now find a link on each of your Group pages below the member list to send out a Group email. Emails can be sent out in different ways: Officers and Members, just officers, or just members. You have the usual option of keeping your address private or sending it along with the message. This isn't meant as a solution for mailing lists, rather a way for the leader and officers to send out general announcements. That's not to say you can't use it in that fashion, however. The leader will find the permissions for Group emails on the Group Ranks page where "Can Create Announcements" used to be. If you plan to have discussions this way it is recommended you assign this permission to all your officers. Enjoy! Link to comment
