rmccloud
Hmmm... sure would like to know how to mark an ammo box as a geocache object. I've seen some hidden as is...but in this area, with security the way it is these days.. I'd prefer to mark the ammo can with something designation it as a geocache. Tips, decals, spray templates...anyone know? rmccloud rossmccloud@gmail.com Quote Link to comment

rmccloud
Labels are in the Groundspeak store. The labels in Groundspeak are only 3x5 or so. Need something MUCH larger for a full sized ammo bxo! Quote Link to comment

echo4lima
Or, print off the large on, enlarge it, make a stencil (x-acto out the black) and you have a spray paintable stencil!! Quote Link to comment
MtnGoat50
I like to cut my own stencils and use spray paint. This one's on a lock&lock but you get the idea. My version of MS Word came with a stencil font. I use a large font, print it in outline mode on card stock and cut it out. It's not as hard or tedious as I thought it would be. There are free stencil fonts available online also. Get a good fine tipped razor knife and a pad to cut on. (available at office supply stores) I use Krylon ultra flat camo paint. I've found it at Ace hardware and Walmart. Quote Link to comment
out12
I just made a stencil today by printing a geocahing design on some card stock and cutting with a utility knife. Seems to have worked pretty good so far. Quote Link to comment
welch
Stencils and decals. I tend to like sissy n cr's stencils, very neat and prefessional looking. A little spray paint as your done! Black paint for the old lettering, and writing GEOCACHE, in white nail polish also works Quote Link to comment
