Grasscatcher
Has anyone done a comparison of features on these two for use with a PPC? Mainly for use BM hunting. Transferring GPX files to a PPC, and features after installed. Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
I haven''t compared them, but I really like Cachemate, and another cacher I know was very impressed with the new PPC version when he installed it to his PDA. Quote Link to comment
+DocDiTTo
It's tough to really compare the two, because cachemate limits you to 10 caches in your database until you register. My GPX file usually contains about 1200 caches, which GPX Sonar is pretty quick with. I've no clue how cachemate will act with so many though, and I'm not planning to spend the $8 to test. If it would allow 20 or 30 days at "full power" before reverting to the 10 limit we could at least compare it.... GPX Sonar has a couple bugs which should be squashed in the upcoming new version, but overall I'm happy with it. Quote Link to comment
