I Thought About You Guys When I Was Stuck In The Woods.

Though not geocaching related, I did use my gps to mark the location of the stuck snow machine on my recent overnight mushing trip. We had to leave it in some pretty remote territory.

Good story! I think most of us have been "lost" in the woods at some point. It really gets the adrenaline pumping eh? It also makes you appreciate the track log function of your GPS.

 

I couldn’t help thinking of a similar incident but it wasn’t in the deep woods and there wasn’t any snow, snow machines, or mushers. And the person was alone. OK it wasn’t similar at all, except for the adrenaline. It was when Lucy (of Lucy& Rickie) hunted Moun10Bike’s Maze Multicache Here is the first half of her log and the second half. Rickie and Pepper helped to prevent repeat occurrences by putting up a sign and a cache.

There is a huge mushing community out there (about 20 miles from town) and I think every dang musher has made their own set of trails so it is a maze.
