+greenjuice
Hi, I have ordered a Garmin Vista Cx this week and it's going to be exciting to use it for geocaching. At home I use GSAK to download to/from GPSr. But when travelling I use iBook (whic is mac) then I look for something equivalent for GSAK to iBook. MacGPS Pro seems to be a good software for using GPSr. But my main question is, is this software good for geocaching? Can I download waypoints to caches with hints too? Maps are not so important right now. Greenjuice Quote Link to comment

Team Kryptos
Just got the same setup myself: Vista Cx and MacGPS Pro. Still trying to figure out the maps and such. the Vista's maps are pretty bad. But after punching in hundreds of coords manually I just love the downloadablility. that alone makes it all worth while. Haven't figured out if you can enter clues and such but i don't think so. Still working on the whole Garmin interface, used a Maggie for a year. Quote Link to comment
