+PastorDIC Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 I have a Garmin GPSmap60C that connects to my old WindowsME by USB just fine. I just bought a laptop, and the GPS and the XP laptop aren't working together. I get a beep like they found each other, but I go to transfer files, and the laptop can't find the GPS through the USB cable. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can get them to work? I've tried Add New Hardware, looking for updated Garmin USB drivers, Disabled Microsoft ActiveSync, and anything else I can think of. I went back to the WindowsME, and it still works there. I'd hate to have to keep the old PC just because it's the only way to connect the GPS to the computer. Thanks for any help you can give me. Russ (PastorDIC) Quote Link to comment
