GeoBobC
Can a saved track log be placed on a 60cx micro SD card? I've read the posts and can't seem to reach a conclusion on this. It appears that active logging can be written to the card, but what about saved tracks in Mapsource? Can they be saved as a .gpx file and then copied to the card via a card reader? If this can be done, is there any limit to the number or size (500 points mamimum?) of saved tracks that can be saved to the card, other than the card's memory? Quote Link to comment
+Red90
You could save them to the card, but there is no way for the unit to display them. Quote Link to comment
GeoBobC
Well that's a barrel of fun, isn't it? You can copy a track to the card but it's not useable. If there was a sure way of putting (and using!) tracks on a card, Garmin would score a knockout blow with the x series, at least for me. Quote Link to comment
+dino_hunters
my magellan explorist can do that for: tracks, route, waypoints, geocaches, and maps. Quote Link to comment
