+Horn229 Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 Covered bridges seem to be dieing off, and one of the two in the entire state of Delaware was just rebuilt to match that of the original built in the 1830's. The other is on it's last legs and it's amazing it handles the traffic it gets. I'm sure there are quite a few more covered bridges around the country that are on their last legs, or are now local history with the road built around them now. So how 'bout it, can we have a category for Covered Bridges? If I remember correctly, there was even a locationless cache for covered bridges.
+StagsRoar Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 This category proposal has already been put forward but unfortunately I cannot find the link for it. It hasn't already been established as a category has it?

It hasn't already been established as a category has it? Oh, cool. Well, when I did a search for the category on the Waymarking site, nothing popped up. If it's it the works, then sweet.

+silverquill Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 Lots of covered bridges here in NH and the rest of New England -- and many, many in other states as well. I've just been waiting for this category to be activated so I can submit some cool Waymarks!!
