Not done the others, but:

Jets Valley = amazing

Surprise View = Stunning!! (oh, and yes - definitely a surprise!)

GCK5H2 SURPRISE VIEW

Yes, this one is great, but if you choose to do it don't be tempted to walk to the cache at Lodore Falls (which is "only 0.2 miles away"), unless you are wearing decent walking kit - Short easy stroll it aint!

Bambi.

No that's very true... and the cache is very hard to find, although we mastered it very quicky but only by pure chance rather than anything else!

For all the lakes buy OL4 and OL6 but i would recomend buying the harveys hillwalking maps when you get there they are much easier to use than the OSmaps as they dont have to show county boundaries and other things just whats on the ground.

As for caches when we went last year the scenery makes all the caches worthwhile.

If you've not already set off, which judging by the traffic going up there yesterday you may already have, try the Mardale Madness round. Great caches, wonderful scenery and some good walking (not mentioning some fiendish puzzles which you only need to solve to find the 8th, final cache). Oh, nearly forget, it's off the beaten track so nowhere near the amount of muggles that you get around the Langdales etc.

Can highly recommend a circular walk taking in Yewdale Beck, Hodge Close, Stang End and Mountains View, all by fellmanshiker. Did this circuit a few weeks ago and enjoyed it hugely.

Fully agree with this one too. Really interesting walk and don't forget to check out the sheep pen or whatever it is by Yewdale Beck - stunning piece of art!
