+Stuey Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I'm sure Spannerman won't mind me telling you that their dog Roxy came first in class at Crufts last week! Well done to you both Steve and Ali, and especially Roxy as well of course. After recently starting out on the dog showing circuit ourselves, I know what hard work you must have put in. You must be very proud! Best of all, Roxy still loves to go out and about caching too. Quote

+Bill D (wwh) Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Big congratulations to Roxy - that's quite an honour! Quote
+spannerman Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Thanks everyone for the kind comments. We are very proud of Roxy and all the work Ali has put into her training. People often comment on Roxy's coat and how do we keep it in such a good condition. I am convinced it is down to mud packs she delights in applying to herself every time we go caching. After every show we go after a couple of local caches, the walk being her reward, and have been introduced to some lovely walks which we would never have found without caching. The two hobbies go very well with each other, even better if I could train her to sniff them out for me! Quote
+Alibags Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Well done, and what a lovely looking EBT! One of my favourite breeds. Let me know if you intend to go to either the Newbury or the Southern Counties shows, as I will be there (working) and perhaps we can get some caches in together? Quote
