StormyKnight
I recently found a Geocache in Manhattan, Ks. that I had fail to locate two years ago. I once again had the opportunity to look for this cache, called Wildcat, and still had the coordinates in my GPS. I found the cache, but it was in poor condition. The last entry in the damp logbook I could find was two years old. The coordinates of this cache are: N 39d. 11.071 m. W 96d. 36.469 m. Does anyone else know of this cache? Who it belongs to? I would like to log my find, but obviously can't if it's not in the database any longer. Quote Link to comment

One way to find it would be to look at the geocaches found for some of the people who had signed the log book. they should still have the cache in their stats and that will link you to the cache page. There you should be able to locate who the owner was and maybe gain some insight as to why it was archived. Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
KKTH3 is right. If you logged a DNF it'll still be in your log history. Quote Link to comment
+*gln
The cache was named Wildcat Challenge By Ron Streeter , GC2EDA . It was archived October 8, 2005 by Ron after a good 4 year run. It was placed in the town that Ron was born and raised. "Since I placed this cache 4 years ago in the town in which I was born and raised, both my elderly parents have died. And now, so has this cache. Ron" Glenn, Quote Link to comment

+welch
How do you kill an object that is not alive? [] ps- Since this cache is archived and has been for some time I think someone close should go remove it, or go fix any problems and list a new cache Quote Link to comment
