+Team Lazer Posted March 4, 2006 Share Posted March 4, 2006 Hey everyone, Just thought I would pass this on as yet another reason to carry on the CITO we all participate with. We visiting the Decew-Detour, I managed to make the level 3 difficulty even harder. While climbing down the escarpment and sliding down the dirt, I picked up a long 5" shard of glass from a beer bottle that actually made it's way right through my boot, my sock and into my skin. After stopping to take a look to see what the pain was, I pulled the piece of glass out of the boot and tried to continue on our way. Unfortunately, the pain continued, so we stopped to remove the boot and take a look. Still under the skin was a piece of glass over a half inch long! I've attached pics. The piece removed The hole The deep hole Needless to say, I wasn't very impressed to have something like this to happen at a beautiful public park. Please keep up the great work with the CITO.
