+Dangermouse 1968
Next week I have to go Japan (from the UK). After a 13 h flight I have dinner with representatives of the company I'm visiting followed by meetings all the next day. From about 6pm for the rest of the day I have a copule of hours in which to "bag" a quick cache in this country (I'm keen to cahce in as many different countries as possible - so far only UK and Austria). I fly back to the UK first thng next morning!!! It's vital that I locate caches as close as possible to where I'm staying but I'm not having much luck through the website. I'm staying at the Westin hotal in/nr Osaka.....1-1-20 Oyodo Naka Osaka 531-0076 Japan. How do I find the closest caches??? Thanks, David Quote Link to comment

+matz
Hello, I received the information fron kussy who lives in Osaka-Pref. There is no real(regular or small or micro) cache near the hotel. Most easy accesible cache is VIRTUAL. Only 300m from your hotel. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCG49D Next cache is VIRTUAL also. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCHJCN To get here, you need to use train. UMEDA station ----(OSAKA MIDOSUJI Line)---> HONMACHI HONMACHI ----(OSAKA CHUO Line)---> OSAKA-KO 30 min from UMEDA station to OSAKA-KO. If you keen for finding regular cache. Try caches as follows. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?wp=GCHHT5 Nearest station is JR TAISYO station. 15min from JR OSAKA station. Enjoy! Quote Link to comment
+Dangermouse 1968
Thanks Matz that's brilliant. I should definatley be able to do the virtual and I'll try to find time to do the regular. There is a travel bug in my cache 1 mile from my house which is on a race to travel as far as possible. I might be abe to help!!! Best wishes, David Quote Link to comment
