Garmin 76csx Problem

Finally located the Marine points icon for "tide stations"but when I select a city and hit enter the unit powers down. All other functions seem to work fine. Any one else have this problem. I am bummed, don't want to have to send this unit back for repairs.

Thanks for the thread information. One of the posters states that it may be because I changed the color scheme, and should set to the factory default. Unfortuanately I don't know what the factory default was, nor do I see a setting to get me back to the original colors.

I had the exact same problem. It also caused problems with the altimeter. Changing back to the default colour (Diamond) fixed both.

I own the map 60 c.

If i go to set up and then to display,all i need to do is hit the menu button while on the display page and it will allow me to default back to factory color settings.

Not sure if yours is the same but it is worth a try.Hope this helps.
