fkellers Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 The 76 CSx manual and web site never mention the tide charts and I did not find them easily. I wonder why? I routinely used them in my 76S and did not buy a 76CSx right away because I could not confirm that the tides were still built in. The plots are so superior to the 4 point tables. Am I the only one using them? The sensitivity is wonderful. I use it in the house, under trees and in the rain. Never could do that with my 76S. I often use a Gilsson 3 foot remote antenna on my hat and I routinely get 12 satellites with most maxed out. Error listed is routinely under 10 feet. I am a happy camper! Quote
+rvmarine Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 I have not found the tide charts. In fact, I am having some difficulty navigating around with this GPS. I just got this, so my experimenting has just started. I finally broke down and bought one after using my Lowrance Airmap for the last few years. Quote
Grasscatcher Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I don't have an "x" but where you find them on a 76CS is ....... Find,Marine, Tide Stations......and if you are close enough to a coast a list of stations will show up. If not close enough to a coast, go to find, marine, tide stations, then menu, change reference, then on the map page that will come up move the pointer closer to a coast and a list will show Quote
fkellers Posted February 20, 2006 Author Posted February 20, 2006 On the CSx you do Find, Marine and the display gives Wrecks/Observations which completely hides the Tide Stations. You have to move one icon to the right to select Tide Tables. Quote
