Looking For Batona Trail (nj) Coordinates

Fellow GC'ers,

My apologies if this is a bit off-topic. If it's inappropriate here, let me know and I'll (re)move it.

That said, I'm looking for coordinates for the Batona Trail (south central NJ). If anyone has coordinates, or knows where I might get them, I would appreciate the info. I've already checked a number of obvious places with no luck. I'd be willing to pull them off a map by hand, but so far I've only found maps of the trail with no coords, or maps with coords but no trail (eg topo quads).

My main interest at this time is the segment from Ong's Hat to Carranza; especially any prominent landmarks (eg, road crossings, camp sites, towers, etc). The southeast end of the trail will likely be of interest later, so anything there would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance. Reply here or email is fine.

This cache is very close to the start of the Batona Trail near Ongs Hat

The Cache is relatively close to the trail head just of Magnolia Rd in Brendon Byrne SF. Come in from the 72 Circle ofonto Magnolia Rd then make a right just before Anapas Restarurant. There is parking at the Trail Head and the cache is Fairly close.

The Batona Trail is the principal hiking route through the Pinelands. The 49-mile route is the principal hiking trail through the Barrens. It begins at Ongs Hat on Route 72 and ends at Lake Absegami in Bass River State Forest.

If you hike from Ongs Hat to Chatsworth, you can climb Apple Pie Hill, known for its panoramic view of the Barrens. The Batona Trail crosses Wharton State Forest. For an easy hike, there's also a self-guided, 1-mile nature walk around the lake at Batsto Village.

The first Campground is located in Brendon Byrne State Forest Formely n=know as Lebanon SF. The Batona walks you past a Fire Tower and then the Park Headquaters, you could stop in and pay for a camp site and then proced down the Batona Trail past Pakim pond to the Camp sites. The Trail continues on across Rt 72 Through Chatsworth and then past Apple Pie Hill and the Tower there, then on to The Carranza Monument. This waymark is at Carranza

The Batona Trail is marked with pink blazes, making it quite easy to follow -- unlike many trails in the Barrens' state parks, forests, and wildlife management areas. If you're going to strike out on your own, get a good map of the turf you plan to tackle. Topographic maps are available at Wharton and Lebanon state forests.
